Hundley Road Construction Updates

We want to make you aware of road construction on Hundley that will impact your route to our church for several months.

We were told that starting today, March 16th, Hundley Dr will be transitioned to one-way Westbound from Lakeview Dr to Lake Dallas Dr.

We are sharing below, information provided via the City of Lake Dallas and the construction company, DDM Construction. Images showing the alternate routes to westbound Hundley are attached. These routes and updates can also be viewed at: https://www.lakedallasroadwork.com

The city also shared that there will be additional closure impacts over the summer. We will remain in contact with the city and DDM to share additional information as needed.

From DDM:

“Eastbound traffic will be detoured around Hundley Dr via two options:

‍ ‍1. Lake Dallas Dr -> I35E Frontage Rd -> Swisher Rd -> Lakeview W -> N Lakeview Dr

2. Lake Dallas Dr -> Main St -> Thompson Dr -> S Lakeview Dr

The Hundley Dr & Shady Shores Rd is undergoing construction, necessitating strict traffic control measures and detours. Current detour routes utilize Swisher Rd and Main Street to bypass Eastbound Hundley. We recommend that commuters plan for an additional 5-10 minutes of travel time during peak hours. Residential and business access remains maintained throughout the work zone.”
