Sterling serves as Pastor of Lake Shore Baptist Church and brings more than 31 years of ministry experience. Throughout his ministry, he has served as a Student Pastor, Lead Pastor, Church Planter, and Church Planting Catalyst with the North American Mission Board.

Sterling and his family spent 13 years serving in Long Island and Brooklyn, planting and revitalizing churches and reaching communities with the Gospel. His heart for ministry centers on making disciples, developing leaders, and equipping the local church to live on mission.

Sterling and his wife are the parents of four daughters, Madison, Emma, Avery, and Charlotte, their family now includes a growing number of grandchildren. Sterling loves serving as a pastor and shepherd and is passionate about seeing Lake Shore love God, love people, make disciples, and mobilize disciples to impact their community and beyond.

Jason serves as the Associate Pastor of Worship & Discipleship at Lake Shore, bringing more than 26 years of ministry experience. He is passionate about leading God’s people in worship, making disciples, and equipping the church to grow in their relationship with Christ.

Jason has served in worship ministry at churches throughout North Texas since 1998, including First Baptist Church The Colony and First Baptist Church Frisco. Throughout his ministry, he has developed a heart for creating meaningful worship experiences that point people to Jesus and help the local church live out its mission.

Jason and his wife, Jessica, have six children—Emily, Jordan, Landon, Hannah, Avalee, and Mia. Together, they love the local church and are grateful to call Lake Shore home.

Gabe serves as the Student Pastor at Lake Shore, where he is passionate about helping students know Jesus, grow in their faith, and become lifelong disciples. He loves teaching God’s Word, building meaningful relationships with students, and creating a ministry where students feel known, welcomed, and challenged to live out their faith.

Gabe earned his undergraduate degree in Biblical Studies from Boston Baptist College and holds graduate degrees in theological studies and divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he is also pursuing a Ph.D. in Systematic Theology. His ministry experience includes student ministry, teaching, discipleship, and missions both in the U.S. and abroad.

Gabe and his wife, Torri, are expecting their first child and love serving the local church together and investing in the next generation.
